Hey there! I'm Emily Widener, a multi-talented artist based in Vancouver, Washington. I specialize in commercial photo retouching, fine art photography, and pet photography.

With a BFA in fine art photography from Pacific Northwest College of Art and extensive experience in various roles, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with local artists, businesses, and renowned brands. Some notable companies I've worked with include Ann Sacks, Danner, Adidas, New Balance, and Puma, to name a few.

My work spans a wide range, from high-volume e-commerce projects to meticulously crafted catalog imagery. Meeting tight deadlines, maintaining efficiency, and delivering top-notch quality are always at the forefront of my work.

When it comes to my personal artistic pursuits, I embrace diverse styles and themes. From traditional photography to abstract mirror sculptures, I find inspiration in exploring the limitless possibilities of the medium. I'm particularly fascinated by the concept of photographic memory, the manipulation of visual representation, and the perception of truth in photography.

My artwork has been showcased at esteemed institutions, galleries, and art fairs, including Lightbox Photographic Gallery, Blackbox Gallery, and Blue Sky Gallery, among others.

I believe that photography plays a vital role in our everyday lives, constantly evolving and shaping our understanding of the world around us. It's a passion that fuels my creativity and drives me to capture the beauty and essence of the world through my lens.

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”

― Ansel Adams
